Wishing...

I have to admit I've been anxiously waiting to see New Moon.
I had grand plans to sneak away today and go see it, then come back to work the night away at my workbench.
But...instead I'm stuck in bed sick. :(
So I did the next best thing, hubby went out with all 6 kids and picked up some won-ton soup for me from our favorite Chinese restaurant. He ordered me to stay in bed and away from my work bench and get well.
Now here I am curled up with my soup and a bottle of cold medicine, and an almost empty box of tissues, watching Twilight on DVD.

Shhh don't tell him I snuck the lap top in with me so I can answer e-mails. ;)

A little Tea and Sympathy.....and a winner!

I'm so glad I did this giveaway!

I have to confess, I had a bit of a pity party yesterday.

I was wallowing in self pity...

~The baby is pretty sick with croup, and we ended up in urgent care

~I managed to catch it, or something else so I feel awful

~I'm so behind on messages!

~The house is a wreck...and on and on

I ticked off the list feeling worse and worse.

I logged on to the computer to see how many more messages I needed to get to before taking the baby back in to urgent care, I stopped by my blog really quick to pick the winner...and I read a few comments.

It brightened my day sooo much!!!!

I got over my pity party, put on my big girl pants, took some Day Quill, and had a nice cup of tea. Then instead of answering e-mails I went and cuddled my baby who needed to be comforted by his momma.

So I'm still behind on e-mails, the house is still a wreck, I'm still pretty sick, and the baby is still fighting a bad case of croup, but we had some good cuddle time in the rocker yesterday...life it good!

Me? I'm thankful for my Honey!

Thankful that he not only tolerates my crazy schedule this time of year, but he doesn't complain even when... dinner is scrambled eggs and fruit three nights running, or that the house hasn't been dusted in days because I was at my workbench stamping. Thankful that he gets the kids up and ready for school when I stayed up until 3 am to work on orders. And so thankful that he comes home with a smile and a kiss and asks how he can help me out. I'm such a lucky girl!

New moon twilght necklace plus another new design!

Remember the New moon giveaway? From ages and ages ago? Well it didn't go quite as I had hoped it would!

I had to put all new projects on hold for awhile so I could take care of my sick kiddies, get caught up on orders and find some helpers!

But....just in time for the big premier! This is the first of the New Moon line.. More to come as time allows.
I sent a few messages to my winner and I haven't heard back so if I don't hear back soon we'll do another giveaway for this one!

This one one of my favorite Quotes from New Moon. I love how the pendant gives the impression of a wolf howling at the moon. I choose this font for it because it reminds me of an old typewriter. I can just picture Stephanie sitting with an antique typewriter by her desk.

Also new today is the first of my "frames" You wont find these any where else because I hand drew this and had a tool maker create a stamp from my sketches. More to come very soon! I'm LOVING my exclusive design stamps!!!! So Fun!!! I will have a giveaway for this one starting this afternoon!

I need a volunteer

I just haven't had the time to snap many photos of pieces using my new fonts.

So if you've been hanging around for awhile you know the routine, if you are newer here, I take the first e-mail to my inbox who's info matches what I am looking for.

I need someone with a larger family, a couple with three or more kids, or for a grandmother. I will be using the angelina font on this one.

It's time for a cinnamonstics website!

For many many reasons it's time to branch off from etsy a bit and start my own website!

One of the main reasons is etsy fees they add up quick!

The other is people who shamelessly copy other's designs, grrrr!

So all that said I'm hoping to get up and running just after Christmas :O)

I'd love some input, feedback on what you would like to see on the web site. Suggestions on what makes a website easier to navigate, easier to input information.

Maybe comments on what make them difficult to navigate.

We're sooo excited about this!!! Thank you to everyone who has helped our little business flourish!

Blissfest 2009!!!!

What a fun weekend!

Kristin and Dan Hubby and wife team and owners of Domestic Bliss just out did themselves! Friday Night's JDRF benefit event was a blast.

Eclectic cowgirls partied it up with live music, a fashion show, a silent auction, and lovely vendors with fantastic eye candy!

I'm sure I say this a couple times a month, but this is my new favorite piece! I was kind of sad to see it sell. I'll just have to make another for me :O) This one will be in my shop soon!

Something you don't see in my etsy shop! I love gem stones and natural rustic jewelry. I have many beaded gem stone necklaces that I sell locally and at shows.

Saturday's street fair was just as fun! So many wonderful people stopped in to day hello!

I was thrilled when I saw who my neighbors for the day were!

I LOVE fabric!!! I don't sew. I don't really like to sew clothing just not my thing, but I love fabric just the same! Heather's fabrics are so full of Life and Joy. I love her combination of colors and texture in her patterns.

I was super busy Saturday so I didn't really get much time to chat with her, but I did meet her hubby during set up the night before. What a sweet heart! He was so busy getting her gorgeous displays up and he still took the time to help Deb of Breathing beside us, fix her tent which broke as she was getting it up, and he helped me get my "not so EZ up" opened. Then he stayed up all night to finish setting up for his Honey. What a great hubby!

My Neighbor on the other side was the blogging lounge where Stephanie and Christian of the Nie Nie Dialogues greeted people all morning.

It was such a pleasure to meet Stephanie in person! She just radiates beauty! She was so modest, sweet, genuine, and down to earth. Stephanie is was such an honor!
