Costume Fun!

Make sure to scroll down to the post below for a giveaway!

It was a good thing that we tackled making costumes last weekend! The way this week has gone if we hadn't then who knows what the kids would have dressed up as. With 6 little guys to dress up we had to get creative.

Alexander had his heart set on being something specific! Can you guess what it is?

Any idea now?

Is it pretty obvious now?

WALL-E!! He was so excited. He helped paint cut and glue it all :o)

Gabriel was determined as well. He LOVES transformers! He debated between Bumble bee and Optimus Prime, but decided on Optimus Prime.

He was just as thrilled with his hard work and plans to keep it for when he plays transformers with his brothers.
Thomas has his heart set on being a cowboy when he grows up. Grandma bought him a cow boy outfit for his birthday. Quite the handsome little sheriff!
Kaiya is a huge Harry Potter fan, so she dressed as Ginny Weasley. Meggie was a little angel, and Nathaniel a little Pooh Bear.

They all has a great time at the school carnival.

Need a little cheer GIVEAWAY!!

First I will say the 100th post give away is still going to take place!! It's just been delayed :o) Now according to my blogger dash board this is post 100, but according to the archive on my side bar this is post 93 so for the sake of the delay we will say the archive is right and count from there

So what is this giveaway about?

Well my honey has been gone for four days now, and I miss him terribly! It's tough enough being a single parent for four days when you are not use to it, but to add to it I caught a horrible cold, fever body aches dizziness the whole bit!
So I need a little cheer :o)

so for the GIVEAWAY part!
Leave me a comment with your favorite Christmas memory.
What can you win you ask? A beautiful hand made Christmas ornament! I haven't photographed them yet but if you like vintage, glitter, and Crystal then you don't want to miss this one!!!!

I will choose a winner (at random) on Friday morning and announce it then. Thanks for the extra cheer :o)

Simply Charming :o)

I took some time today to photograph some new charms, and few bracelets, two of which I'm really excited about, so I had to share!

Here are the charms on the firing bricks.
More Vintage Crowns!!! The Top right one just stunning! I couldn't get a decent shot of it to show it off, but it is set with 9 little diamonds on the points of the crown. The Top left is set with a pink CZ and 5 little diamonds. The bottom one is set with a marquise CZ. They have all been antiqued to bring out the details and add to the vintage look. I'll be fusing chains to them soon. The crown with the heart is for a collaboration with an amazing designer and the others will be with me at La Maison Flea Market in Nov.
These are just some fun little ones I made. The beautiful little bee has Queen stamped over her head. The Madonna and Baby Jesus I am gong to make in to a brooch.
This Bracelet and the one below I am soooooo Happy with! I have completely hand fabricated every component on them! I shaped the links, fused and forged them. The star clasp I made from fine silver clay and them soldered the hook to it to create a unique hook and eye clasp
This one was a true labor of love! I hand formed the heart clasp on this one too and set it with a small clear CZ for some sparkle. I fused and forged the links on the bracelet. I then cut a tiny hearts from fine silver, and fused on to each link. This little beauty is mine but I will be making some to sell soon!

More Pretty bangles!
I'm always on the look out for cute little stamps that i can use to make fine silver pendants from. I was thrilled when I found this adorable little owl rubber stamp. Then wouldn't you know i stumbled across the same little owl that another jewelry designer already had made on etsy. Great minds think alike! ;o). Since some one else beat me to it on etsy I will not sell her in my shop, but she will be available for direct purchase from me. Isn't she just too cute!!!
Off to keep working! I got 15 packages mailed on Friday only 14 more to go! Hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far :o)

Last minute Jewerly show!

So I was asked a couple of months ago to participate in a Holiday open house with a select group of vendors. I never heard back from the hostess though until late last week...the show is tomorrow!

YIKES Well the good news is I have a ton of jewelry I didn't get a chance to list after my last craft show so I have plenty of inventory, the down side is I still need to re price it all and figure out how I am going to best display it on a small table.

I think a grande Caramel latte and late work night are in order.

Here is a sneak peak at some new pendants that will be up in my shop soon if they don't sell tomorrow.

One might even make it into the BIG 100th Post give away!! 5 more post to go!!!!!!

More new designs!

Well the tummy bug is making it's way through almost all the kids so posts will be sporadic until it passes.

However my 100th post is approaching fast! I am thinking of ways to celebrate! You can expect a BIG giveaway!

On other notes. Lots of packages went out last week!! Another batch will be heading out tomorrow. :o)

In between finishing customs I have made a few more new pieces.

I Love vintage crown images! I made this one from fine silver and set three CZs for extra sparkle! This one will be in my shop at the end of the week when I am done with all my customs that were ordered up through the weekend.
This was a fun little treat for Dana of Old Red Barn.
This piece I am sooooo happy with !!! I know she doesn't look like much in the picture but...
My dream and goal in my jewelry making has been to learn silversmithing thoroughly. Having been pregnant for the past 6 years I haven't been able to pursue that until now.
Thanks to etsy sales I have been able to acquire more of the tools I need to continue on this journey! THANK YOU to all of my wonderful customers for helping me achieve one step in my dream!!!!!!
I plan to keep this pendant to remember my first torch soldered pendant (sort of like framing your first dollar only way prettier!)
Once I solder the chain to it I will be offering to recreate it in my shop.
Off for a busy day
Have a lovely Monday!
