Necklace Give away!!!

Happy Tuesday!! :o)

This weeks give away will be for this new necklace I just added to my store.

One of my favorite scenes in It's a Wonderful Life is when George Bailey is trying to win Mary's love and he tell her He'd throw a lasso around the Moon and give her the Moon. This sweet little necklace is a tribute to that. :o)

So how to win it? Just leave me a comment and I will enter your name in the drawing...if you blog about it with a link back here then you will get 5 extra chances!

Good Luck!

So Excited!

I have been super busy getting ready for the La Maison Rustique Blog~Her Party!!! It is an Open house featuring so many extremely Talented ladies. August 16th!

I had the pleasure of meeting Linda the owner of La Maison Rustique this weekend! She is just so warm and sweet, such a beautiful lady inside and out.

La Maison is perched on a hill nestled in the middle of the gorgeous wine country in Temecula California. It is just down the drive from Linda's absolutely charming country home! Thank you Linda for the opportunity to participate :o)

I also met Sherry of Prairie Home. She to is just so sweet and friendly! And did I mention talented?! I treated myself to one of her beautiful T shirts, and admired all of the other pretties she has to offer!

Anyone with in driving distance should make the trip to meet these talented wonderful ladies!

I'll be posting pictures of some of the goodies I will have to offer soon :o)

(wouldn't you know when I got the camera out to take pictures of La Maison and the surrounding country side the batteries died!)

Finger Print Friday :o)

Of all of God's many gifts that He has so graciously bestowed on me, A green thumb was not one of them! Despite my aptitude for killing off all house plants, including cacti this beautiful Azalea has thrived. She has graced my kitchen window sill since our last anniversary in November. God has definitely left His finger prints all over it!

Hey it only took two months!

Last but not least I was able to get some new necklaces up in my shop! I just love the camera one...I think I may have to make myself one, something I rarely ever do!

Busy Bee

Happy Monday! :o)

I just thought I would share what I've been working on.
Last week I received an order for 100! of my dandelion charms from Sheila of Sheila Neilson Photography...she strives to catch the joy, wonder and innocence of childhood.
I think her work is fabulous check her out here http://sheilanielsenphotography.blogspot.com/ Thanks Sheila!

First up on what I have finished in the last 5 days are these wildflower charms. I really love the song wildflower by Tom Petty and these were inspired by the light hearted feeling I get when I listen to it

Next are these beautiful Sterling sparrows I just got in the mail. Sparrows are a symbol of enduring love. As tribute to mothers, the first swallow has her nest of eggs. The second swallow has a small hand stamped charm that reads Soar Free. Thank you Sarah for sharing you love of sparrows with me and their meaning!

I have also been making tons of rings for the show. These are my little nest rings...each is hand wrapped from a very long piece of silver wire, and three little pearl "eggs" rest in the center.

Finally this is a custom order I received through my store. It's a mother's bracelet with her two beautiful childrens names and their birthdays. I hope you love it Nicole!

Well that all for now but I have lots more beauties finishing up in the tumbler so I'll share more later today!

How cute is he!

Here is my Hungry little Catepillar, isn't he cute! He still needs to be polished but I just had to share him! My hope with him is to make a full charm bracelet with eachof the things he ate...I'm going to have to get creative with the stamps!

This one is the necklace I made for my husband friend. They were married a couple of weeks ago and are just loving married life!

Finger Print Friday

What can I say! I think children are Gods greatest finger print!! Their innocence and wonder, and the great joy they take in the simplest things in the world. We can learn so much about faith from our kids :o)
Have a blessed Friday!

Beautiful copper!

Happy Thursday to you all!!

I just though I'd share some goodies I've been working on :o). Whenever I do a craft show I try to have a large range on styles. I personally am a huge fan of copper! The rich warm color copper takes when it is oxidized with subtle hints of green and blue, it's just exquisite.

In the front of the picture are three more Trees from my "little tree" series. I just love being able to use my tool to draw in the metal and make something totally unique.

Over to the left is a dandelion with the word wish. This is in honor of those wonderful childhood memories of finding those snow white puffies on the yard...taking a deep breath and then watching each seed dance with the breeze in spirals, and then twirling around and falling in to the sweet smelling grass and giggling. Ahhh the innocence of childhood.

Then in the back are two lady bugs. I just adore lady bugs! Working out in my veggie garden and catching a flash of bright red, as the Sweet little creatures go about their day.

In the Center is a tribute to sisters, this is a favorite of all my local customers!

The top is stamped with the word sisters and two flowers and under is the quote "Sisters are different flowers from the garden of life" Simple and sweet. I am blessed with two amazing sisters, and I am so happy my girls have each other to share in the joys of life together, and support each other through the sorrows.

Thanks for letting me share!

These will not be listed in either of my store for now but if you are interested in them feel free to e-mail me!

I hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday! :o)

Canela

As promised

All right here it is...no laughing!

Well as I said it's not perfect but personally that is what I love about artisan jewelry, each piece is a unique creation, a tiny piece of art with it's own personality, and sometimes attitude :o)

I made this one for myself to wear in place of my wedding ring. Almost five straight years of being pregnant it now fits on my pinkie. So until the baby weight comes off I have this pretty little creation to wear. I carved a tiny heart on the front of it. I love the organic look that you can get from the clay.

I promise to post pictures of more as I make them, hopefully soon I'll have one good enough to sell!

We Have a WINNER!!!!

Congratulations to Heidi Zawisza !!! Heidi please send me an e-mail and we can talk details :o)

Thank you again to everyone else who entered and left such kind comments.

Check back soon I will be having another give away starting on Wednesday!!!

I hope everyone has a Wonderful Monday!!

Oh How could I forget!

Well as any mom of a new born knows the lack of sleep reaks havoc on the memory!

I totaly forgot about my fourth line! This one has been in the works for quite some time...

"Bedtime Memories" I haven't settled on that name for certain but it's the best I've got for now.

This line will feature parts of children's stories stamped, or pictures etched into silver. The first is a favorite in our house hold "The Hungry Little Caterpillar! and in the works are "Guess How Much I love You?", Good Night Moon, The Giving Tree, the "If You Give a Mouse..."series, "On The Day You Were Born", "Tell Me about Eternity", Where the Wild Things Are", and "The Gift of a Snowflake" Whew! If you can't tell I had a few little helpers make requests!

I also have my daughter Begging for a "Harry Potter" bracelet.
Oh and a Camp Rock bracelet because the Jonas brothers are in it. Ahhh we've hit the boys are kind of cute stage. I'm so not ready for it, she's still my baby! Do they have to grow so quick, sniff sniff.

Keep an eye out for lots of goodies!

Big things in the works for Cinnamon*Sticks!

I am so excited I just had to share! I made my fist solid silver non wire ring today! Oh I wish I had my camera but alas it is in Montana with my hubby. I miss it, oh I mean him ;o) we are rarely apart so I do miss him tremendously. But enough of the mushy stuff and back to business...
I am so thrilled to be working with PMC again PMC stands for Precious Metal Clay. It is pure silver mixed with an organic binder and water to make a clay. I had taken some time away from it (the fumes when firing it is bad for unborn babies and well, I've been pregnant for most of the last five years!)
I will be sure to post a picture of it on Monday. I need to hone my skills a bit more, it is tricky to work with, but by the end of the month I will have some Solid Silver rings and gem stone rings for sale!

Next up for Cinnamon*Sticks Boutique are Three lines of Hand Stamped and forged Jewelry.
the first is "Moments of Devotion" This line will feature prayers and inspirational quotes all centered around God and Jesus...little daily reminders that our blessings all come from Him, and He will help us bear our crosses in life!

The second is "Expressions of Love" Jewelry to celebrate the Joys of Marriage and Love. The first of this line "So In Love" is in my etsy store. The second will be in my shop on Monday it's a brides necklace, the picture is of one I made for Rob's (my honey) friend who was married today.

The third is a line devoted to young girls, and young women. I've yet to come up with a name for it. This line is inspired by my own daughters who I hope to help become, faith filled, confident and independent women. We all know young girls are so critical of them selves and, so many of them put others down to try to make themselves feel better. I hope to help my girls rise above this pettiness..."no one can make you feel inferior with out your consent" Elenore Roosevelt
I do hope they bear that message close to their hearts.

Finally...I get my professional torch and some other fun tools at the end of this month so new designs are sure to follow!

Fingerprint Friday

I found a few blogs today participating in Fingerprint Friday. A group of women sharing some beautiful photos to show the amazing glory of God in our world through his creations and works.

My contribution this week is the innocence of new life...

Earrings!!

I just love making earrings! I rarely list them but I do love making them. Now another confession...I almost never wear them! Until recently that is. Chasing after 5 little ones with a new one always in arms I just can't wear elaborate jewelry. I do however still like to look like a woman when I go out and not just a tired mom, so made myself a simple pair of square hoops. They are so comfortable and light weight that I don't even notice they are on, but I fell pretty and feminine wearing them with my endless love necklace!

It is amazing what a little jewelry and makeup can do for you mood. You can find these pretties in my etsy shop today!

Have you smiled today?

Just a little inspiration for today..."Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing. We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do." ~Mother Teresa

HOW Cute are these!!!

Plum Pear Apple designs is having a give away. Go check out these adorable capes and leave a coment for a chance to win!!

New Pretties!

If my little Monkeys will cooperate I will list this little pretty today. I just might be overly hopeful though. We went on a "grand adventure" last night. We treated the kids to a night at the drive in where they saw Wall-e and Kung Fu Panda, indulged in popcorn, and stayed up till 1:00am! Yes I said 1 am! We generally have a very strict bed time of 8:00 pm. They had a fabulous time, but they have a major case of the grumpies today...is it nap time yet? ;o)

So if you see it in my etsy shop today you'll know I managed to get then all down for a nap, and f not well then I am off breaking up any number of toy arguments!
Oh is it overly ironic that the necklace I'm listing says Spread Joy? I do hope everyone else has a Joyful day!
