My weekend will be spent getting orders finished and shipped, preparing for the Holiday Markets, and Making Halloween costumes for my kiddies. I've had a request for Princess Peach, Bowser and Mario...do we sense a theme here? Not sure what the other kids want to be yet.Do you buy costumes or make them?
Personally I love home made costumes, but some years there is just no time!

Why must southern California be so far from eastern Colorado? I would love to host one :( Perhaps someday!
We usually do a combination of buying/making. I don't do a whole lot of sewing, but I do all sorts of other crafting sort of things. We never buy the kit pre-made cheap costumes except for on clearance at Target after Halloween. Can't beat 75% off!
By the way, after you did the photo contest, you sent me an e-mail about a gift certificate and whatnot...I responded but never got a response from you. I'd love to use my gift certificate! :) Thanks!
I've done both. Make and buy. This year we're buying. Your Hogwart's seal necklace caught my eye. My 2nd born is a huge fan - is reading the series for the 2nd time, will be Hermoine Granger for Halloween, and her birthday is coming up as well. Will you be making more to sell on your site?
