Let's have a giveaway!

It's official, I've been in a funk! I don't know what it is. Do you have those days?

We got some unexpected news last week that I'm still processing.

I've pretty much been on my own with the kids these last two weeks. Rob was only home for the kiddies bed time one day these last two weeks. (if you know a single mom, or dad give 'em a huge hug they need it!!)

I've had a cold for over 3 weeks that I can't get rid of.

And...

But rather than continue on with my pity part, and my list of poor me, I'm going to put on my big girl pants, and think of what I'm thankful for, and remember to let go.

Today I am thankful for...

~Cloudy rainy days, I LOVE the rain!
~Peppermint Hot cocoa. (I'm usually a caramel latte kinda gal but chocolate and mint seemed to be in order today)
~Hugs from my 2yr old. The kind where he just squeezes and nuzzles his head into my neck and sighs
~playing dress up with my 4yr old
~inventing silly stories with the boys and laughing
~listening to our oldest excitedly gush about the fact that she made it into the school play!
~being able to create jewelry to share with others.

And with that last one come this...

New to my line of ID bracelets the Because of you Bracelet !

It's fun a little funky, a little rustic, and oh so Chic!!
Completely hand made including the chain, it can be personalized with names or a quote, or maybe a Psalm or poem.
I can't think of a better way to end the pity party than to give one away!
So for a chance to win your very own leave me a comment and let me know something you are thankful for today.
For an extra chance

~leave a comment on facebook telling others.
~Become a follower of my blog (if you already are just let me know)

Good Luck!
xoxo
Canela

Ohhh Canela,
I bet you knew I would be on here for your giveaway- I would like to go on Etsy and order at least one of .....well everything. I am a stay at home mom too so I know the unexplainable funk's you can get in. With that said, I am most thankful that I am able to be a stay at home mom and thankful that I have three healthy children. May god bless all the parents and/or children that deal with the daily battel's of illness's and abuse!!!

I am thankful we moved here. I really disliked it at first and had a hard time finding anything positive about being here. But now I'm in the middle of a surprise pregnancy and the OB practice I am going to is perfectly suited to my situation. I feel so blessed to be here and to have found this office. I don't think it's an accident-- I think we were led here. It has been a good reminder to try harder to find the good in everything, because it's there, we just have to find it! :)

Thanks for reminding us to be grateful. It can make such a difference in our lives!!

I am thankful that my father is getting better every day and that he hopefully will be well enough to go with our family to my wedding. I can't imagine walking down the aisle without him.

Also I am thankful for a roof over my head and food on the table. Simple things in life, are sometimes the best

I am thankful for God. Without him, nothing would be possible! I am thankful for my husband, however imperfect, loves me regardless of my imperfections. I am thankful for my daughter, who currently cannot sit still, but has the sweetest disposition & is absolutely beautiful, inside & out! I am thankful for my son, who loves to run around naked & copy everything his sister does, even dressing up like a princess. I am thankful for core group of friends, that allow me to vent. I am thankful for my mom, for watching the kids for us, when we need a getaway & can't afford a babysitter. I am thankful for thrift stores & garage sales! I am thankful for the pumpkin patches and cool weather and lastly, I am thankful for my new found interest in blogging & the fact that I found this site. You are amazingly talented. Thank you, for sharing your feelings & insights with us & know that you're not alone!

I am thankful for ::insulin:: Every day I give my sweet little boy 3 insulin shots to treat his juvenile diabetes and keep him healthy, happy...and ALIVE! It is a miracle in every sense, and something I will forever be thankful for and never take for granted.
